The following is a basic list of courses along with course descriptions and associated costs. Our firm offers other quality training courses throughout the month. Training is available every week upon request and upon .
CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT All of our courses consist of topics that are required by their corresponding categories and regulations. However, curriculum can be designed to suit your needs. We create site specific training and our trainers are more that capable of delivering quality training to you. We also create curriculum that is sensitive to various learning requirements. This ensures trainee comprehension of the information being presented. EMERGENCY & LAST MINUTE TRAINING We recognize that many companies and individuals require training at the last minute and the work schedule cannot be helped. Our firm accepts last minute or emergency training requests. OSHA COURSES 40-Hr. HAZWOPER (29 CFR 1910.120) - Also known as Hazardous Waste Operations, this course covers workers and employers in any field where there is exposure to hazardous materials or where there are hazardous operations being conducted Includes: Ancillary Materials, Half-face Respirator with cartridges, Note Pads. Light breakfast and lunch are provided daily. $350.00 Five (5) days eight (8) hours/day June: Every week Monday - Friday 24-Hr. HAZWOPER - is a more generalized version of the 40-Hr. course. This course is intended for employees/professionals who will have exposure to Permissible Exposure Limits (PELs) at or above threshold limits. $199.00 - Three (3) days, eight (8) hours/day June: 6-8, 15-17, 20-22 8-Hr. HAZWOPER (Refresher Course) - Required annually. Prerequisite: 40-hr HAZWOPER - $80.00 - One (1) day, eight (8) hours June: Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday HAZMAT - Also known as Hazardous Material, this course trains students how to: identify hazardous materials, specifics on donning and doffing hazmat suits, SDS, GHS, emergency response protocols, decontamination techniques, decontamination tools and technology, safety plans, and HAZMAT drum removal, and more. $200.00 one (1) day eight (8) hours Upon Request. DOT - HAZMAT Transportation - Also known as the DOT – Hazardous Material Transportation training is required The Department of Transportation (49 CFR 172.704) makes training mandatory for almost anyone who handles hazardous materials, regardless of the amount. This affects employees who select or fill hazardous materials packages, label containers, complete shipping papers, load or unload vehicles, transload hazardous materials, or operate vehicles used in the transport of hazardous materials. This course meets both your initial and recurrent training requirements. This certification needs to be refreshed every three (3) years. $350.00 one (1) day, eight (8) hours Upon Request. Forklift Certification Training - Also known as Powered Industrial Truck Operation 29 CFR 1910.178 requires forklift training for anyone who operates a powered industrial truck, including a lift truck. This is a very engaging course that encourages participants to observe, analyze and discuss recommended forklift safety practices. Participants are required to successfully pass a multiple choice examination and a hands-on forklift skills test to receive a certificate of completion. $225.00 one (1) day, four (4) hours June: Every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday Saturdays Upon Request Lockout/Tagout - OSHA requires training to be provided to ensure employees understand the reason and function of the energy control program. OSHA has specific requirements for training authorized, affected and other employees. This will satisfy that training requirement. Our firm will help you to protect yourself and your employees from the release of stored hazardous energy by teaching and assessing your company's compliance with 29 CFR 1910.147, developing written policies, procedures and written energy control programs; and distinguish between "authorized" and "affected" employees. Our firm is able to deliver on-site training and/or re-training to address: the recognition of hazardous energy sources; type and amount of hazardous energy sources available in the facility; how to perform lockout/tagout procedures; understanding the purpose and use of lockout/tagout; conduct period inspections per the OSHA standard; and provide guidance for outside contractors, shift and personnel changes and power sources that cannot be locked out. $75.00 one (1) day, three (3) hours Upon Request |
